The KAEFER Group is the only in­dus­trial ser­vices con­tractor that has its own in-house Cor­por­ate Innov­a­tion & Tech­nical Ex­cel­lence (CIE) De­part­ment, loc­ated in Bre­men, Ger­many. This department has labor­at­or­ies that can test in­su­la­tion (thermal and acous­tic) and coat­ings products in various simu­lated cli­matic and process conditions, such as cryogenic pipe­work op­er­at­ing in trop­ical environments.

In Aus­tralia, KAEFER has sev­eral dedicated tech­nical ex­perts. Our local technical ex­perts work closely with our international coun­ter­parts to share best practices. Our global portal al­lows for the trans­fer of best practice inform­a­tion to all KAEFER com­pan­ies.

KAEFER in Aus­tralia has a test fa­cil­ity loc­ated in Naval Base, West­ern Aus­tralia, setup to test coating applications to substrates at hot and cold tem­per­at­ures as well as vari­ous test rigs to test the application and removal of different insulation sys­tems.
