ESG & Sustainability
Our company was founded more than 100 years ago with the aim to reduce the energy waste in ships leaving from the port of Bremen. This first guiding principle has influenced much of what we have accomplished in the century since, putting sustainability at the heart of everything we do. KAEFER’s sustainability commitment is to achieve a 50% reduction in groupwide LTIF by 2030, compared with 2022 figures.
KAEFER has a global strategy for ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) and sustainability, with targeted initiatives in place locally to support this across seven key workstreams.

KAEFER Foundation
In 2010, the KAEFER Group established its own Foundation to support global causes, including disease prevention, disaster relief, environmental protection, scientific research, and initiatives for younger generations.
