Diversity & Inclusion
Fostering inclusion, celebrating diversity and empowering everyone to contribute to a stronger, united future.
At KAEFER, we’re dedicated to building a workplace and community centred on respect, opportunity, and growth. We engage effectively with stakeholders, honour cultural heritage and diversity, and invest in community projects to create economic opportunities and support a strong residential workforce.
Our First Nations Employment & Development initiatives and Reconciliation Action Plan empower First Nations talent and promote meaningful reconciliation. We recognise the importance of gender diversity and inclusion, striving for an equitable workplace where every voice is valued. By being active participants in the communities we serve, we aim to make a positive impact that enriches the lives and landscapes around us, helping to create healthy, vibrant, and cohesive communities.
First Nations Employment & Development
KAEFER has a proud history of working in partnership with local communities and First Nations businesses. We work towards creating local opportunities and sustainable growth, while also aiming to address social and economic inequalities faced by First Nations people.
KAEFER respects and recognises the rich history and culture of First Nations peoples within our business. We are committed to strengthening and building an inclusive workplace where First Nations histories and cultures are respected and cultural diversity is celebrated.
KAEFER’s “Innovate” Reconciliation Action Plan outlines our key targets and actions as we continue to develop long-term, sustainable opportunities for First Nations peoples and businesses.

Gender Diversity and Inclusion
At KAEFER, we prioritise inclusivity and diversity, ensuring equitable opportunities through our in-house training programs. Our cadetship, apprenticeship, and traineeship initiatives are open to all individuals, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or background. By providing comprehensive training, we empower participants for successful career advancement.
Supporting Local Communities
We are dedicated to supporting local communities through various initiatives, including sponsorship programs, donations to community institutions, and traineeships. We are also committed to maximising opportunities for local industry by ensuring full, fair, and reasonable access for suppliers and subcontractors to contribute to the delivery of our projects.
