Today is International Women’s Day; a day set aside to celebrate the achievements of women worldwide and to raise awareness of gender discrimination. This year’s theme looks to #embraceequity and addresses how not everyone starts from the same place.
For KAEFER, no one better exemplifies this than Annelotte Koch. After taking over the running of KAEFER with her two sons upon her husband Heinz-Peter Koch’s death in 1965, the company expanded, quadrupled its headcount and increased turnover fifteenfold in a time when women weren’t welcome in boardrooms – a true pioneer in the boardroom and beyond.
