Overview
KAEFER was engaged by INPEX to provide a range of services supporting the major shutdowns of the Ichthys Onshore LNG Facility in 2021 and again in 2022.
Scope of Work
KAEFER’s scope included:
- Off-site surface protection at KAEFER’s Darwin Blast & Paint Facility
- Supply and erection of scaffolding (AT-PAC)
- Scaffold engineering
- Welding technical advice
- Mechanical teams and supervision
- Insulation teams and supervision
- Coating teams and supervision
- Supply of mobile foaming unit
- AGRU absorber repairs / upgrades
- LLP suction drum repairs
- Loadout strainer fabrications
- Main steam P91 valve changeouts
- MR & PR upgrades
- MR & PR expansion below fabrication and installation
- Foam injection teams and supervision
- Off-site heavy fabrication (structural and piping)
- Off-site fabrication of insulation & cladding material
- Off-site valve box fabrication
