Ichthys LNG Project Construction
Overview
KAEFER was engaged across multiple contracts on the Ichthys LNG Project, completing works both on and offshore.
Scope of Work
KAEFER’s work spanned a range of infrastructure, including the onshore process plant, storage tanks, jetty, combined cycle power plant and offshore (CPF and FPSO). KAEFER’s scope included the following:
- Management and supervision of scaffolding on-site
- Application of cryogenic, thermal and acoustic insulation, as well as sheet metal cladding
- Installation of removable thermal insulation jackets
- Surface preparation and application of protective coatings
- Rope access
- Passive fire protection application
- Structural, mechanical & piping works
Works were completed both on-site as well as through KAEFER’s Darwin Workshops.
