Caval Ridge CHPP SMPEI Project

KAEFER (through acquired business G&S) was engaged to undertake the procurement and structural, mechanical, piping and electrical installation of the Caval Ridge Mine CHPP Project.

The scope included the CRSC connection works and filter building upgrade including all associated Brownfields tie-ins and commissioning.

The major work elements associated with this contract included:

• CV-110 transfer conveyor
• CV-105 bypass conveyor
• CV-821 reclaim conveyor extension
• CV-811 stacking conveyor modifications
• ST-105 transfer tower extension
• SS-114 substation modifications
• ST-702 tailing filter building modification and expansion works
• Modifications to ancillary structures

KAEFER procured all fabricated items, supplied all construction equipment, cranage, supervision, and labour required for the project.

This project was delivered on time, with no injuries.
