R U OK? Day

Today is R U OK? Day – A national day of action to ask “are you OK?” and start a meaningful conversation whenever we see signs that someone we care about might be struggling with life. This day is one of the most important dates on KAEFER’s calendar each year, in direct alignment with the HEALTHY Choices pillar of our SMART Choices program.

The theme for 2023 calls on all of us to let the people we care about know that we’re here, to really hear them. By taking the time to have a conversation and genuinely listening with an open mind, we can all help the people in our world feel supported and connected.

In recognition of the day, KAEFER Integrated Services held several breakfasts, morning teas and lunches across our national sites and offices, where we discussed mental wellbeing in the workplace as well as the support networks and tools available to our people.
